2012 Rally Season
With two events of the 2012 season ticked off the list already,our next outing is to Carlow for the CVCMC Show & Sale.We haven't attended this event before so we're really looking forward to it.
For this and future events,I'm would like current and prospective IMMOC members to register with us on the day of each event.This will give us an idea of who is attending the shows and hopefully recruit new members.
If there's and event close to where you live and,let us know,either through the forum section or contact any of the committee.
Hope to see you all in Carlow on the May 20th..

IMMOC AGM 2011
All,
This will take place on Saturday 29th October.
I've booked the Town House Hotel in Naas for the AGM.
The reason for the location is that it is practically the nearest hotel to Toughers and they are holding their annual autojumble on the following day (Sunday) so you won't have far to travel!
Will send on times for the AGM at a later stage (probably the usual 3-4pm!
The price for the rooms are €30pps (double) / €50pp (single)
Dinner will be @€20-25 price range. 
There will be music in the bar ont he Saturday night and we will have places reserved in the bar for us.

Just to let everyone know -
Taking place from Friday 26th August - Sunday 28th August in association with the Kilkenny Motor Club.
Newlands B&B (only 1 mile from site)
€40pps,€50 single, 15% discount for 2 or more nights.
I'm giving these rooms back if they are not booked by 12th August.
Camping - Nore Valley Camping site.
€40-€50 per night (sleeps 8 ) €8 for 1-2 man tent, €10 for 3-4 man tent. |

Hi Dain and D'arne,glad you enjoyed the day,it was nice to see you both.It was unfortunate that you had a little trouble on the day,but help is never far away when you're a club member.I had some trouble on the my way home myself.I stopped for petrol but when I tried to re-start the battery gave up the ghost.There was enough power to supply the ignition,so,with a slight turn of the starter handle,off we went.

We started one of the cars here, went through two batteries
trying to get it started! The same happened with my Dad's car  Think the oil may have been so cold, it wouldn't stat the engine! |

Took the car out today, and despite not having been out since September, and after a month of minus zero temperatures there was no problem, just gave it some choke, turned the key and we were off - what a good little Moggie...? |

Hi Keith,the fact that the engine starts suggests that there's sufficient fuel.There could be a restriction in the carburettor.Start by cleaning out the float chamber.Fit an in-line filter ensuring it's directional arrow follows that of the fuel line to the carb..It would be a good idea to check over the ignition system also..

i have a morris oxford and its as if its starved for fuel,i emptied the tank and put 20 quid of unleaded in and it still has same problem,is stars up first time no problem.a small bit smokey but clears it self but lacking power.

Hi all,
We didn't have any response to this last time around but the invitation is still open.If anyone is interested in going on a few runs over the winter period,please feel free to leave a message on forum section or contact any of the committee.
If there's a particular run that you'd like to do,maybe something of interest in your surrounding area,we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Numbers aren't important,but the more the merrier.
This will help to promote the club outside of the rally season.
